Walk For Education

The 2009 California Dollars for Scholars Walk for Education will be held Saturday, October 17 at Loyola Marymount University in West Los Angeles!

The Walk for Education is a vital initiative to promote educational access, both locally and nationally. Each walk makes a significant impact in the number of scholarships awarded on the grassroots level, and in a larger sense, to the lives of all who benefit from the education of our youth.

While each walk follows a 5-kilometer course, the impact on students and their families can be felt for much longer. Through its Dollars for Scholars program, Scholarship America partners with more than 1,700 communities, corporations, colleges and universities across the country to help students with the desire and drive to continue their education beyond high school.
